Robert posted an exhaustive list of videos from this week on his blog. I’ll have to get around to doing the same later on, as well as posting photos and videos I took from my point of view during the week, including some great ones by Robert’s son, Patrick Scoble, who grabbed my camera during some of the interviews.
Robert mentions a new “no more than three interviews per week” rule. I’ll admit to being the cause of that…it’s hard to say “no” to elected officials, and what seemed like a normal schedule to me took on a whole new level when hauling around cameras, tripods, and microphones.
That being said, I have a whole new level of respect for what goes into producing Robert’s content. His producer, Rocky Barbanica, shown here giving a White House press briefing, does some pretty amazing stuff with those cameras and has a skill set that I can’t begin to comprehend. I run around DC all day, and probably made a mistake in thinking it would be easy for him to do the same with his gear. I am simply in awe of the man and what he is capable of.
I’m going to get back to work and relax by checking out the Mission of Burma show tonight, but I’ll have photos and video for everyone shortly.
As much as Robert thanked me, I want to thank him for coming out here to see my “half” of the tech policy world. Hopefully I’ll be able to check out his side in the near future.
