What's this?

drop.io: simple private sharing

Now this is where it gets exciting. You want to share something with us, but want to remain anonymous? You can use our anonymous Drop.io drop (Andrew's favorite new toy) which you can see at http://drop.io/capitolvalley.What is so cool about Drop.io is that you can get data to us a few different ways:
  1. Upload a file, be it an mp3, document, photo, video or whatever using the widget you see there.
  2. Send an email to capitolvalley (at) drop (dot) io and it'll get there. Your return address? We'll never see it.
  3. Want us to hear something? Dial (646) 495-9204 and enter extension #42442. Want to record a call you want distributed anonymously? At an event and think we should hear a report? Ring that number and extension. We'll never know who it came from unless you tell us, but the world will hear it
  4. You can even send us a fax. Got some documents you want out there but can't scan them? Print out this cover sheet and put it on top of your documents. Fax the documents to x856-632-7000 or 856-632-7639, just make sure that cover sheet is there.
Think of the drop as a parking garage for a modern day Deep Throat or where today, Daniel Ellsberg would send the Pentagon Papers. In other words, if you want us to have it but don't want anyone to know where we got it from, Drop.io is the thing for you to use. If you send it, we'll get it, and we'll publish it. More on it later.
